Requirements

  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a nonSTEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Cyber/Information Security, Mathematics/Statistics, or other science/engineering related field.
  • 3+ months experience in:
  • Information security models and concepts
  • Data Analytics
  • Cloud Computing and Cloud Security Components
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data science, data analytics, and data visualization/reporting techniques and tools
  • Microsoft SQL and relational databases (SQL server/MySQL) and NoSQL
  • IT/Security Systems Engineer/Administrator duties
  • Basic scripting (Ansible, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and database (SQL) skills
  • Secure Software Development Lifecycle and principals including Agile
  • Security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
  • Linux and Windows system administration
  • Understanding of AI concepts, application, and development
  • IT/Security Systems Engineer/Administrator duties
  • Service Management applications including ServiceNow
  • Basic understanding of security models and frameworks such as NIST 800 series
  • Basic understanding of security Policies, Standards and Procedures
  • Professional certifications through industry recognized organizations such as CompTIA, ITIL, SANS, ISACA, ISC2 (e.g. CISSP).
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following behavioral skills:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be willing to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment and be comfortable with working in a virtual/remote environment.
  • Customer service and stakeholder management skills, including experience in setting and managing user and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintain security compliance, for systems and applications.
  • Assisting with system automation, upgrades, integration with various systems, applications, and data sources.
  • Assisting with automation deployment, application configuration management and related continuous integration, delivery, and management processes.
  • We are looking for aspiring Information Security professionals who support key projects and initiatives.
