Requirements

  • A relevant university degree; having graduated within the last twelve months.
  • A post graduate qualification in either Airport Planning, Management or Engineering would be an asset.
  • An aptitude in desktop research with a basic understanding of airport and ANSP terminology and the associates regulation would be an asset.
  • A willingness to help manage small projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability and self-confidence to work with stakeholders to a senior management level.
  • Ability to make clear presentations and prepare reports based on technical merits and facts.
  • Must have strong organizational, mathematical, excel, modeling skills.
  • Fluent spoken & written English is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the IATA Airport development team, this position, in coordination with all key internal stakeholders from the relevant departments, as well as external stakeholders in the industry (such as airport planning consultants, engineering firms) will be supporting the following:
  • Coordination and administration of ADRM Think Tank Working Group stakeholders contributing to content development.
  • Support benchmarking and data collection to inform content development as may be required.
  • Monitor the overall Program and Working Group project plans and activities.
  • Support coordination between Working Groups and Working Group Leaders where dependencies exist.
  • Attend ADRM Think Tank and Working Group meetings to record accurate and succinct minutes and actions.
  • Working with our global team, you would be responsible to coordinate updates or collect information on:
  • Airport and ANSP ownership structures
  • Information on economic regulation in different countries
  • Updates on master data, collect or to review and update information about airports and ANSPs. (Who owns them, who regulates them, financial statements etc.)
  • Review the team priority list and work plan, flagging potential issues including where updates are missing.
  • Support the team in tracking quantitative and qualitative benefits from our advocacy efforts, and ensuring post-campaign assessments are complete.
