Requirements

  • Enrolled as Junior of Sophomore in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of secondary completed coursework in students’ field of study.
  • Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD or MicroStation design software experience may be preferred depending on department.
  • Ability to perform some duties in the field may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
  • Assist engineers and/or inspectors with various tasks.
  • Work under supervision of a staff engineer or project manager.
  • Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation
  • Complete site visits to collect data or assess site conditions
  • Active construction sites (Construction Management position)
