  • College-level coursework related to business, computer information systems, finance, or other related field
  • Required Education:
  • High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study
  • Two years attendance at an accredited school pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Required Competences:
  • Required Job Skills:
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (including Word and Excel)
  • Basic project management and time-management
  • Strong organizational skill and attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute

  • Intermediate writing and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with broker contracting, financial, and Medicare technicians, data quality administrators, and department management to accomplish strategic goals and objectives
  • Assist with monthly commission cycle execution, error mitigation, and balancing activities with our partners in the Financial Reporting area
  • Participate in special projects and tasks which promote efficiency and improved departmental productivity
  • Execute Scripted Query Language (SQL) and Business Objects queries to provide business stakeholders with meaningful reports
  • Create documentation or desk level reference materials for commonly performed tasks
  • Perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies, commission anomalies, workflow defects, and other business issues
  • Communicate and collaborate with Vendor Application Management team for Change Requests or defect reports
  • Expand and develop data integration expertise between BCBSAZ and our commission software vendor
  • Compile documentation with opportunities for departmental improvement
  • Report issues identified to departmental management · Perform all other duties as assigned
