Requirements

The position requires a motivated individual with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additionally, we desire the following:
PHD candidate of either Statistics or Biostatistics and accomplished core courses for the PHD program.
Completion of courses that cover survival analysis, Bayesian statistics, stochastic processes and Markov chains.
Proficient at R programming and it is plus to be familiar with SAS programming.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly responsible to conduct statistical simulations for Bayesian dynamic borrowing to evaluate and determine an appropriate Bayesian discounting approach to borrow information from historical trials to design and analyze an additional omecamtive mecarbil (OM) study required by FDA. You will develop adequate statistical knowledge on Bayesian dynamic borrowing methods from both theoretical and implemental perspectives and gain some research experience highly related to clinical trials in pharmaceutical industry.
