The candidate must have a bachelor's degree, be enrolled in a science, engineering, or math graduate program, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be able to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer, be eligible to work in the US, and have an interest in bio-inspired machine learning algorithms, computational architectures, neural network modeling languages, and continuous learning methods.

The candidate will implement and benchmark machine learning or neuromorphic algorithms, contribute to journals and conferences, program and test algorithms on hardware, explore deployment characteristics, engage with the community, develop software packages, and promote diversity and inclusion.
