Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program related to Communications, Public Relations or a related field, (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing concepts, and public relations principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google suite or similar software.
  • Previous communication, marketing, or related experience, coursework, or personal projects are advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the communication team to create and curate engaging content relevant to multiple stakeholders,, including corporate communications (internal and/or external), press releases, social media and briefing documents.
  • Assist in the development and execution of communication and corporate affairs plans and strategies.
  • Help monitor media coverage and “horizon scanning”, subject to business needs
  • Conduct research on industry news and trends, competitors, and regulation, among other topics.
