Requirements

Enrolled in a degree program related to Communications, Public Relations or a related field, (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing concepts, and public relations principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google suite or similar software.
Previous communication, marketing, or related experience, coursework, or personal projects are advantageous.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the communication team to create and curate engaging content relevant to multiple stakeholders,, including corporate communications (internal and/or external), press releases, social media and briefing documents.
Assist in the development and execution of communication and corporate affairs plans and strategies.
Help monitor media coverage and “horizon scanning”, subject to business needs
Conduct research on industry news and trends, competitors, and regulation, among other topics.
