Requirements

  • You have excellent communication and analytical skills;
  • You are an effective team player in a multicultural working environment;
  • You have excellent PC skills, particularity with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and MS Project; and basic website CMS knowledge;
  • You are proficient in English. Knowledge of any other language would be an asset, especially French, Spanish and/or Portuguese;
  • Have experience in video production/editing (Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe After Effects / Final Cut Pro / Apple Motion), visual communications (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator) would be an asset;

Responsibilities

  • General media relations work, including initial research/fact gathering supporting the preparation of responses to media enquiries; triaging emails from the general corporate communications email box and forwarding to respective account manager;
  • Support internal communications activities by assisting in drafting messages, uploading posts on the intranet and photography/filming as required;
  • Assist in social media activities including monitoring account activities, posting provided texts to the appropriate channels as well as designing assets to support messaging;
  • Support press release distribution, including updating media contact database;
  • Assist the Web Team in content creation and updates for iata.org;
  • Support IATA events by assisting with media travel request and content/program updates;
  • Recording videos.
