Requirements

  • A high level of scientific intellectual curiosity, a strong interest in current and emerging technologies, and the ability to summarize them into actionable insights based on Yazaki's capabilities, capacities, and other tangible assets.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics, electronics, mathematics, material sciences, or related fields.
  • Effective analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with reporting packages such as MS Office and PowerBI, databases like SQL, and programming languages like Python, R, XML, Javascript, ETL frameworks, etc. will be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assess technology innovations, readiness, and commercial and competitive viability by conducting detailed research using various methods, including event attendance, patent analysis, tracking global trends, and other methods using the triangulation methodology.
  • Support colleagues in proactive business development to win in current and new markets.
  • You will be expected to summarize your research findings and strategic and actionable insights in an executive management format/meeting with a detailed report to be part of a securitized knowledge management store.
