Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college majoring in a Business discipline such as finance, economics, accounting, or related field.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively is a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and risk management concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis – Understand how to collect, analyze, and clean data that is necessary for Credit Risk Management.
  • Portfolio Monitoring - Assist in monitoring credit portfolio.
  • Risk Assessment – Assist in determining the risk that is associated with all of Energy Transfer's commercial transactions and identify the credit risk that is associated with our trade partners.
  • Risk Mitigation – Learn how to effectively mitigate credit using various methods.
  • Report Generation – Prepare reports and/or presentations.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues within the Credit Risk Management team as well as with cross functional teams, including commercial, accounting, contracts, legal, etc.
  • Ad Hoc Projects – Participate in ad hoc projects related to credit.
