The ideal candidate for the Intern, CXL Research position at Samsung Semiconductor should have a PhD with 2+ years of experience in the related field, strong knowledge of CXL/PCIe specification, Linux kernel development skills, proficiency in system profiling and Al models, as well as problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. They should also possess an inclusive and adaptable communication style, be an avid learner and collaborator, and demonstrate innovation and creativity in approaching challenges.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing memory tiering, developing an AI-powered cache management system, introducing CXL device distance metrics, and creating a Linux kernel module for workload scheduling.
