Requirements

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, operational research, applied mathematics, statistics, data science or relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge in data modelling, data cleaning, ETL, SQL, quantitative analytics, machine learning, deep learning and data visualization
  • Python and machine learning libraries (Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc.), database tools (Talend, MongoDB, Snowflake, etc.) or BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) would be an asset
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

Responsibilities

  • Support design, build, test and maintain the data model, data flow architecture or pipeline, data analytics and visualization
  • Support data pre-processing, cleaning and other activities to enhance data quality
  • Help assessment of data-analytics problems, production of business intelligence and meaningful insights to support challenges
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
  • Relevant administrative support, as needed
  • Communicate findings to management through data visualizations and reports
