Requirements

  • Pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree, Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Interest in Power systems strongly preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble), preferred but not expected
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote) preferred

Responsibilities

  • You will work under the direction of an assigned Electrical Engineer mentor to develop and implement project deliverables. Project sizes will vary, and will consist primarily of pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, or industrial projects including both existing building renovations/retrofits and new construction.
  • Our Electrical engineering team focuses on the design and engineering of power, lighting, grounding/bonding, and special systems, e.g., data, security, fire alarm, raceway, cable tray, and other electrical control and building support systems in the built work environment.
  • Developing project documents and deliverables such as:
  • Power load, illumination, short circuit, and voltage drop calculations
  • Basis of design reports and code evaluations
  • Single line diagrams
  • Plans
  • Schedules
  • Creating electrical installation details
  • Specifications
  • Coordination with manufacturers and construction trade partners.
  • Tasks will include utilizing computer-aided drafting and engineering software
  • Assisting with the development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under the direction of the project manager
  • Coordinating with other internal disciplines and external team members, including vendors and manufacturers, trade partners and contractors, and clients.
