Requirements

  • Required Skills:
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Excel
  • Proficient organizational, spelling, grammar, and typing skills
  • Proficiency with standard office software applications, including Outlook, Skype or Zoom, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and MS SharePoint
  • Proven track record of project deliverables; coordinating multi-discipline projects strongly preferred
  • Self-Starter, able to work independently.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Experience or interest in web design and process improvement is a PLUS.
  • Proficiency with web-based software and Microsoft Suite.
  • Qualifications/Eligibility:
  • Pursuing a Bachelors or master’s degree in EHS Computer Science, Data Analytics, Web Design, or Project Management
  • Student must be returning to school in the Fall Term OR has graduated within the 1 year of the start of the program.
  • Must be available to work 40 hours a week
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • EHS&S Bioweb page update:
  • Evaluate and determine the information to be included in the updated EHS&S Bioweb pages and the layout of the pages.
  • Work with EHS&S staff and BioMarin stakeholders to complete the evaluation.
  • Update and launch new Bioweb pages utilizing existing platforms including MS SharePoint
  • EHS&S Documentation:
  • Work with the EHS&S team and to conduct an assessment and update the EHS&S Controlled Documents procedure and documentation process.
  • Assist with document alignment and clean-up of EHS&S documentation and written programs and procedures.
  • Based on the results of the assessment the project may include transferring documents between SharePoint sites and updating document infrastructure and/or working with other software systems including Veeva Systems.
