Requirements

  • Education Requirements:
  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising Junior, Senior, or Masters level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2024 – June 2026.
  • Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in Business, CS, Data Analytics, MIS, Computer Engineering, Engineering, GIS or related
  • Proficiency and understanding of:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
  • Experience with fiber management system or GIS systems is a plus
  • Professional Attributes:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortability working with vendors, clients, and other Lumen employees
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to think on your toes and make decisions effectively in fast paced environment
  • Problem solving mindset with a drive to achieve goals

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating, modifying, researching, and maintaining diverse types of drawings, maps, and records using the required workstation and software
  • Will interface with other areas of the department, company, and customers to identify and resolve issues
  • Reconcile and update records and databases in AutoCAD, 3GIS and/or ArcGIS PRO
  • Identify and resolve all drawing related discrepancies using documentation as well as calling the field to gather information
  • Work independently to help reach team goals
  • Other duties as assigned
