Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2023 and August 2024 (entering penultimate year of university)
  • Available for a June 2023 start date for an 8 – 10-week program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
  • Strong verbal/written communication abilities and effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employee

Responsibilities

  • Rotation between fixed income product desks including but not limited to Investment Grade, High Yield, Special Situations, Leverage Loans, Emerging Market, and Convertible Debt
  • Shadow senior revenue producing institutional salespeople and traders
  • Perform ad hoc tasks such as building financial/credit models, conducting market analysis and prospect research for new institutional clients
  • Receive training on a Bloomberg Terminal including a visit to the Bloomberg Headquarters to receive further educated on terminal capabilities
  • Conduct product analysis within fixed income investment grade credit products and highlight trade ideas to trading desk
  • Participate in company wide network events such as lunch and learns across StoneX’s global leaders
