The candidate must be a graduate level student in pharmacy, medicine, or a healthcare/life science program, with at least 1-2 years completed, a minimum 3.0 GPA, proficiency in Microsoft programs, initiative, deadline-driven, strong organizational and planning skills, ability to work well in teams, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interpret scientific/clinical trial data, and a desire to contribute to innovative healthcare advancements.

The intern in Medical Affairs at Cytokinetics will conduct literature reviews, give presentations, attend meetings, assist in the development of medical materials, and support preparations for medical meetings, while also engaging in informational interviews and providing medical information to external healthcare professionals.

The Intern will have substantial ownership of projects, opportunity for cross-functional interactions, and exposure to the broader organization.&nbsp;In general, the Intern will interact with Cytokinetics colleagues in cross-functional areas that may include (but not are limited to) Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial Development, Regulatory Affairs, Health Outcomes and Economics Research.</li><li>The Intern will be introduced to core Medical Affairs activities within a biopharmaceutical industry setting, attend cross-functional meetings, and meet with various colleagues to understand their functions. By the end of the rotation, the Intern will have a foundational understanding of the Medical Affairs function.
