Requirements

Currently pursuing a PhD degree in Cell Biology or related field
Experience working with microscopes
Experience with histochemistry
Detail-oriented and organized
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude
Flexible, able to respond quickly to shifting priorities and able to multitask
Nice to have:
Experience with Python to analyze images
Knowledge in immunity, in mammalian histology and/or in cell death biology.
Experience with live tissue imaging

Responsibilities

With our help, based on pre-existing data, establish a list of aging markers and the suitable approaches to image them
Optimize staining techniques in collaboration with our histology core
Use our high-content microscopes to generate a large number of observations
In collaboration with our microscopy data scientist, run the image analysis
