  • Qualifications/Eligibility:
  • Student pursuing an MBA or PhD in life sciences.
  • Must be able to work remotely or relocate if necessary and work at the San Rafael, CA for the duration of the internship. Hybrid workstyle is preferred.
  • Student must be returning to school in the Fall Term OR has graduated within the 1 year of the start of the program.
  • Must be available to work 40 hours a week.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • This position will lead development and execution of therapeutic area-wide efforts to identify indications of Commercial interest and inform early asset development. Main responsibilities will include development of a Commercial framework, applying the framework to identify and characterize indications of interest, and socializing findings across the organization.
  • Additionally, s/he will assess programs of corporate-wide interest for additional Commercial opportunities with in-depth information on disease areas including epidemiology, natural history, unmet need, competition, and price comparators. This position works closely with colleagues in Research, Early Clinical Development, Global Medical Affairs, Product & Portfolio Development and Business Development.
  • Lead development and execution of a therapeutic area-wide disease mapping project
  • Lead collaborative development of an in-depth Commercial assessment for key programs.
  • Consult and inform project outputs across cross-functional partner teams.
