Requirements

  • Education:
  • Must be currently enrolled as a student in a college or university working towards an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Hospitality Business or other related field

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Event Planner with event schedules, including but not limited to:
  • Securing speakers managing event content and program details to create a comprehensive event experience.
  • The development of event-related websites to ensure functionality, informativeness, and user-friendliness.
  • The execution of catering and decor selections, coordinating with vendors to ensure the desired outcomes.
  • Contribute to the wrap-up functions under the Event Planner
  • Assist in on-boarding speakers, managing their needs, and ensuring a positive speaker experience at HCPH events.
  • Help complete the speaker off-boarding process, including collecting feedback, facilitating speaker payments, and ensuring a smooth departure for speakers.
  • Assist with event logistics, including transportation, equipment, and materials, and coordinates with staff or volunteers to ensure smooth event operation.
  • Support the facilitation of marketing strategies, promotional materials, and event promotion as needed.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for event stakeholders, facilitating communication between vendors, staff, speakers, and attendees.
  • Supports event setup, execution, and breakdown, addressing issues or challenges that arise, ensuring a smooth event flow and related duties as assigned
