Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, or recently graduated students in public health or health equity, or a related field of study.
  • Demonstrated skills in research such as market research, environmental scans, literature review, website review, etc.
  • Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communications, including ability to translate dense content into easy to read and understand versions and formats.
  • Ability to build and cultivate relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written community.
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to support administrative tasks as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs.
  • Minimum availability 20 hrs/week, M-F

Responsibilities

  • Market and environmental research
  • Research existing campaigns and initiatives focused on specific patient conditions to assess competitive landscape.
  • Monitor environmental trends to identify priority funding opportunities.
  • Explore program evaluation opportunities to include in proposals.
  • Analyze market gap opportunities for patient and caregiver education opportunities.
  • Conduct landscape analysis on specific topics to help gather initiative insights.
  • Conduct literature reviews and provide key findings back to leadership teams.
  • Program and Project Management
  • Collaborate with appropriate team lead to identify best practices and develop resources for the team such as handbooks, toolkits, and resources.
  • Support the team in development of patient and healthcare professional education resources such as web articles, handouts, infographics, etc. in coordination with marketing and communication leads.
  • Develop templates for program and project reporting and assist with quarterly reporting needs.
  • Create slide decks and presentations to support team where needed.
  • Volunteer Recruitment and Management
  • Support existing initiative advisory groups with activities such as agenda development, meeting communications, and training opportunities.
  • Support existing alliance partner work by identifying best practices across teams and cataloguing relationships for better coordination.
  • Identify additional organizations and individuals for potential engagement in new or existing initiative priorities, support onboarding once recruited.
