Requirements

  • Pursuing a Graduate degree in science, engineering, or technology related field
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite with advanced software proficiency
  • Biology, sequencing, genomics or other bio-related field experience preferred
  • Experience in process improvement or project management
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory
  • Experience woarking with intercultural teams
  • Knowledge of and work experience with Food and Drug Administration regulated products
  • Working knowledge of FDA, International Organization for Standardization, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, and College of American Pathologist regulations
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Understanding of HIPAA and importance of privacy of patient data

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-team projects supporting enhancements to existing and newly developed workflows.
  • Create and draft documents including presentations, memos, workflows, and spreadsheets.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules with stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple deliverables and special projects.
  • Compile and publish weekly project status reports for leadership and project sponsors, project teams and other key project stakeholders.
  • Learn SOPs and compliance standards for GMP, QSR, CLIA and other environments.
  • Assist in driving targeted, sustainable process improvement by leveraging root cause analysis activities.
  • Assist in the development of improvement roadmaps (i.e., how to use FMI tools and processes to drive sustainable improvement results).
  • Assist with the development and implementation of project plan.
  • Generate team and cross-functional communications (written and oral).
  • Provide analysis and other contributions to project phase reviews.
  • Track key project metrics.
  • Assist in the evaluation of business decisions to the appropriate management teams and/or functional managers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate process improvements and reduction in COGs efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
