Requirements

  • Intern candidates must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Our internships are unable to accommodate OPT.
  • Interns are responsible for their own housing.
  • Ability to perform light to moderate physical labor, at times briefly under conditions of extreme heat, cold and humidity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Chemistry, Biology, Bio-chemistry background knowledge preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft word and excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory of laboratory supplies and samples. Receives supplies and stock shelves or delivers supplies as necessary.
  • Maintains laboratory in compliance with safety, GMP, and GLP standards.
  • Accurately documents activities in accordance with GMP requirements.
  • Follows standard operating procedures while performing duties and maintains accurate records of all physical and analytical testing.
  • Prepares and catalogs HPLC, reagents, ACS and Test Solutions.
  • Ensures proper storage of samples/materials and maintain chambers/warehouse.
  • Receives and verifies accuracy of printed labeling material.
  • Performs destruction of expired samples/materials.
  • Responsible for collecting all the testing data for Inter-location Transfers (ILT).
  • Promptly reports discrepancies and out of limits conditions to supervision.
  • Performs other duties as required by Supervisor in support of daily lab operations.
