Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in a quantitative field.
  • Highly skilled in Python coding and the use of different libraries.
  • Familiar with some or all the concepts of Data Science, Optimization, Statistics, Simulation.
  • Curiosity about Energy Markets, Battery Storage, and Power Plant optimization.
  • Critical thinking and ability to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights.
  • Proficient computer skills especially Microsoft Excel & Power Point.
  • Familiarity and/or some experience with Energy Markets.

Responsibilities

  • Quantitative modeling and automation of the modeling processes for Clearway asset revenue optimization with the use of data science and optimization.
  • Summarize the findings of modeling projects in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support the revenue valuation workflow for power plants and new investments with the use of existing models.
  • Data mining and maintaining datasets to support other ad hoc power plant and market analysis
