Requirements

  • Research experience in communications, wireless communications/sensing systems, and signal processing at the graduate level.
  • Knowledge of radar system design and testing
  • Experience with simulation methodologies and tools such as MATLAB
  • Lab experience with mm-wave wireless system characterization

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other team members on evaluation of radar prototype system
  • Develop signal processing software to enhance system performance for applications such as proximity sensing, vital sign detection, motion detection and safety.
  • Optimize hardware parameters to improve system performance
  • Compile a report on proposed system enhancements to be incorporated into future revision of radar prototype
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
