The candidate for the Intern, Renewable Engineering position at Invenergy must be currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor’s degree program, majoring in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, power systems engineering, civil engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. They should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and preferably have an interest in the renewable or clean energy sector. They should also be comfortable working in an amorphous environment.

The intern will provide technical support, data analysis, and assist with the design, evaluation, and construction of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, thermal, and storage. They will also manage interconnection and transmission aspects of generation projects and analyze energy market information using quantitative models.
