Requirements

  • Pursuing Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields
  • Excellent programming and software development skills, fluent in Python and C++, knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch is required
  • Hands-on experience developing deep-learning systems for robotics perception including object pose estimation, synthetic data generation, grasping and related topics
  • Hands-on experience with physical robot hardware is desired
  • Track record of publishing at robotics conferences

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new capabilities related to perception for manipulation tasks such as pose estimation and grasping
  • Evaluate existing algorithms and reproduce results on specific datasets.
  • Perform literature reviews
  • Publish research at top Robotics and AI conferences
