Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Architecture or related field.
  • Strong software engineering skills with efficient, maintainable and testable Golang/C/C++ and Python is required.
  • Experience in storage system and/or database software design & development, debug.
  • Strong knowledge about File Systems, Object Storage or similar technologies
  • Good working knowledge of the Linux Operating System and File Systems
  • Good understanding of general filesystem and software internals.
  • Understanding of load balancing concepts and experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement features in Disaggregated storage software, a high-performance object storage solution.
  • Design and add features like Filesystem view of S3 Object store, Erasure coding in DSS RDD data path and adding load balancing features in object storage & storage targets.
  • Work closely with the team to design/develop features, attend daily standups, update the JIRA tasks assigned to them and send out weekly status reports.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
