Law or graduate student with proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong research and writing skills, familiarity with affordable housing issues and policies, excellent organizational skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team, and capable of managing multiple tasks.

The intern will assist with housing research, policy development, data analysis, advocacy strategy, and creating informational materials for various audiences. They will also attend meetings, assist with coalition coordination, and support internal programs as needed.

<ul><li>Enterprise Community Partners’ Southeast Office is seeking a public policy intern to assist with research and various projects related to the creation and preservation of affordable housing, tenants’ rights, and homelessness prevention. Enterprise is a national non-profit founded in 1982, dedicated to creating and preserving affordable housing in diverse communities across the United States. Enterprise works to address the nation’s housing crisis by providing resources, expertise, and capital to partners and communities to build and sustain affordable homes for low- and moderate-income families. Enterprise’s priorities are increasing affordable housing supply, advancing racial equity, and building resilient and upwardly mobile communities. This policy internship will last 12 weeks during the summer 2024 with a time commitment of 20 hours per week.</li></ul>
