Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Research experience in the areas of architecture, operating systems, applications, memory systems, or related field
  • Architecture-level knowledge of a modern microarchitecture employing x86, RISC-V, ARM, etc.
  • A good grasp of data center, mobile, or embedded systems architectures
  • Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or other high level language
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Published research papers in the areas of architecture, operating systems, applications, memory systems, or related field
  • Ability to understand and optimize system and workload performance
  • Ability to own and drive independent research projects
  • Education:
  • Must be continuing education in Fall of 2024
  • Enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

  • ponsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
  • Independently evaluate and drive research explorations for Micron’s systems portfolio: in-/near-memory computation, workload acceleration, using new memory technologies, and more
  • Develop solutions for real systems problems, spanning novel applications software, operating systems, and systems architecture improvements
  • Publish research papers and presentations within Micron
  • Present research outcomes and recommendations to director-level management and above
