Requirements

  • Current graduate students (Master's or PhD) who are available to work full time for the duration of the internship, OR Bachelor’s/Master's recent grads within 2 years of receiving their degree.
  • Preferred majors: Cell / Molecular / Cancer Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biological engineering or related disciplines
  • Detail-oriented and self-directed individuals with hand-on experience of molecular biology and cell biology techniques.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Build in vitro models and develop biological assays to demonstrate functional impacts and elucidate mechanisms of action for target triage and prioritization.
  • Characterize and deconvolute immune and cancer cell phenotypes by assays including but not limited to conventional/spectral flow cytometry, western blots, cytokine arrays and/or multi-omics platforms.
  • Contribute to assay/technology development of cutting-edge experimental approaches/techniques.
  • Process and analyze data; interpret results in the context of the scientific goal.
  • Participate in team and department meetings, and effectively collaborate with peers and fellow colleagues/researchers
