Requirements

Working towards an Urban Planning, Urban Design, Public Policy, or related Master’s or PhD program
Experience using GIS Mapping software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online) preferred
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and InDesign) preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
Ability to present ideas, projects and solutions in a polished and professional manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Flexibility to work on-site and non-standard business hours occasionally, must be able to travel to project sites

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve as a contributor on project tasks including research; data collection and analysis; mapping and geospatial analysis; public and stakeholder outreach; and development of maps, reports, presentations, and graphics. Ideal candidates will be solutions-focused, with the ability to contribute to problem solving, report writing, and positive team dynamics.
