Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a graduation date between 2024 – 2026
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Relationship Building: Proven track record of working with complex organizations and leading conversations with stakeholders
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to quantify contract opportunities using data, and influence decision makers
  • Communication and Organization: Write clearly and concisely with the Tesla voice. Sustain impeccable organization and effectively convey information
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguity, and exhibit resourcefulness. Capable of succeeding with minimal supervision
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to develop relationships and act as a trusted partner with both internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Support proposals development, maintain existing contracts, and ensure compliance with provisions on new and existing public opportunities. Comply with, company policies, and government regulations throughout all contract lifecycles
  • Sales Operations: Process government orders, communicate updates to customers and facilitate the release of those orders through delivery. Manage the reconciliation and invoice processes for special billing of government contracts
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Achieve a market share objective based on annual goals and meet or exceed prescribed sales targets. Support ad hoc projects and campaigns that benefit the program objectives
  • Project Management: Create and update policies and procedures that pertain to government purchasing and contracts. Conduct trainings on compliance with policies and procedures. Manage multiple projects with changing scopes and timelines
  • Relationship Building and Collaboration: Establish relationships with fleet managers, decision makers, and stakeholders to facilitate government procurement. Support in developing customer electrification plans and manage associated customer inquiries. Develop a comprehensive network of business contacts and provide support for customer meetings and events as required. As well as partnering with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Sales Operations, Retail Sales, Delivery and Service, to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
  • Digital Tools and Services: Promote and drive the adoption of Tesla's fleet digital tools and services among government clients. Advocate and education for the the adoption of Tesla for Business, while showcasing its benefits and advantages
  • Organization: Effectively manage all contractual agreements, including Purchase Orders, Municipal and State contracts, and NDAs
