Requirements

Education and Experience:
Ability to configuration and maintenance of the HPC computer rack/hardware.
Ability to troubleshooting and resolving hardware problems on Linux cluster hardware and networking equipment and applying logical methods of resolution
Ability to do preventive maintenance of cluster hardware
Familiar with distributed file systems (Lustre/NFS), virtualization and containerization related experience is a plus
Familiar with HPC Rack, Build, cable, configure, and provision Linux kernel, windows server.
Familiar with HPC Operating System Installation/provision - Windows Server, Linux, Unix.
Experience using Web Server and Database installation.
knowledge in High-Performance Computing, script language(Shell, Python), Linux administrator, operating systems (Linux, Windows), computer network
knowledge in Operating systems: Linux, Windows
knowledge in HPC hardware
Proficient use programming language: Python, Shell
Knowledge about Virtualization and containerization, Computer network, Network switch topology and Distributed file systems

Responsibilities

Support, maintain and troubleshooting HPC computation platform with computation infrastructure team and machine owners.
Troubleshoot existing platforms.
Provide scripts to automate the monitoring process on both software and hardware scope, also include network, and other software issues Develop and automate installation/setup/testing and monitoring function/process for HPC platform.
Other duties as assigned.
