Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Project Management
  • Experience with design and construction processes and timelines
  • Exceptional verbal, written, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with various User Interfaces
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Experience in AutoCAD or Revit to model MEP systems including ductwork, piping, fire protection, lighting, schedules, and details
  • Knowledge of National Building Codes, Including but not limited to IMC, NEC, IBC, IFC, NFPA
  • Experience in construction project management
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for sustainable energy

Responsibilities

  • Assist with engineering department document management
  • Hold and attend project meetings for recording and tracking of action items
  • Develop engineering standards and templates to improve efficiency and workflow
  • Develop and assist with the review of construction packages for permitting and construction
  • Utilization & optimization of project tracking tools
  • Attend field walks with engineers to create field reports, punch lists and as-built documentation
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure that all technical areas are covered and that all project objectives and schedules are met
