Requirements

  • You are an HBO or WO student, studying for roles in the field of Events, Sponsoring, Marketing, Communication, (international) Business- or Leisure management.
  • You are passionate about events, and preferably already have some experience in hospitality and/or event planning.
  • You have an open mindset, you are flexible, pro-active and hands on.
  • You are able to take some responsibility and think in solutions.
  • You always strive for the best, and don't settle for half-measures.
  • You have good communication skills and a good command of the Dutch and English language (in writing and speaking).
  • You can work with the MS Office package (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • You have an eye for detail and details are making you happy.

Responsibilities

  • You will have an active part in different event project teams and will have dedicated tasks
  • You will be part of the execution team on site for several events
  • You will be setting up and maintaining registration websites for our events (don’t worry you don’t need to programme it, we have an easy tool for it)
  • You will keep track on the registrations of our delegates
  • You will help us to make sure our scripts are up to date with the latest details
  • You will be responsible for the general department mailbox, handling incoming emails
  • You will manage our ING event goodies store

What is the duration of the internship?

The internship lasts for 5-6 months.

What is the monthly compensation for the internship?

The internship compensation is €700 per month for a 36-hour work week.

What kind of tasks will I be assigned during the internship?

You will participate in event project teams, assist with on-site execution of events, manage registration websites, track delegate registrations, update event scripts, handle the general department mailbox, and manage the ING event goodies store.

What educational background is preferred for this internship?

Is prior experience in event planning required?

While previous experience in hospitality and/or event planning is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Important skills include flexibility, proactivity, responsibility, good communication in Dutch and English, proficiency in MS Office, and attention to detail.

Can I complete a graduation project during this internship?

No, this internship is a working/learning opportunity and does not accommodate graduation projects.
