Requirements

In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors include: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics.
Preferred coursework completed: Math, Physics, Statistics, Dynamics, Machine Design.
Experience:
Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.
Additional information:
Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, and/or Solidworks required.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
Consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

Retrieves engineering data and information from SharePoint, MAXIMO, and develops Engineering drawings/documentation and PowerPoint presentations of technical data for business planning.
Understands basic engineering practices from request to resolution.
Learns theory of integrated systems, QC processes, manufacturing processes, and engineering drafting practices.
Generates Engineering calculations to support theories.
Develops an understanding of engineering data collection.
Develops Engineering drawings & documentation.
Develops an understanding of presentations developed form an Engineering and/or Business aspect.
Supports park operations through engineering records and documentation, calculations, CAD drafting, and more.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
