Requirements

Must be pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, physics, chemical engineering, IC manufacturing or process technology related technical field of engineering.
Script level programming skills – intermediate to advance level of experience / knowledge using Python.
Experience or knowledge conducting data analysis and gathering data for reports.
Basic statistic knowledge required.
Knowledge of rigorous optical / electrical magnetic wave simulation (FDTD - finite difference time domain or RCWA – Rigorous Coupled Wave Analysis) is a plus.
Knowledge of machine learning is a plus.

Other Information:
This position is located on-site in San Jose, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.

Responsibilities

Get familiar with the automation tool, analyze the results.
Participate the discussion of improvement of Tachyon product.
Further improve the automation tool and add more functionality to meet the need of data analysis.
Other duties as assigned.
