Requirements

  • The marketing team is part of the Sales team, within the Global markets division. The team is based in New York and covers the Americas region (North America and Latam), and it is backed by similar teams in Europe and Asia.
  • The primary mission of the team is to deliver product marketing on all the Global Markets products and services offer of Societe Generale in the Americas. Covering all asset classes (equity, FX, rates, Credit and Commodities) and the wide variety of sales team (structured product teams, flow derivatives teams, D1 teams...).

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales with the support to ensure proper client understanding of our hedging and investment solutions: product presentations, RFP, sales trainings, knowledge management tools
  • Help financial engineers to convey their ideas and solutions with sales:cross asset product offer, product analysis / backtesting, regulatory approval
  • Provide clients with: bespoke marketing material for their own needs, dedicated trainings
  • Product scope covers all asset classes with a strong emphasis on equity derivatives and fixed income derivatives. Client scope covers Insurance companies, Pension funds, Asset Managers, Banks and corporate.
  • Day to day responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Producing detailed commercial presentations for distribution to clients and / or potential investors
  • Developing/creating brochures, newsletters, marketing campaigns, in order to keep the clients informed of our capabilities, services, and latest product innovations and ideas
  • Back testing products / excel computation (historical simulations of investment scenarios and product performance as well as analysis of returns - using macros (VBA or not) or requiring the development of macros)
  • Liaising with Legal department to develop and maintain US / Canada / LATAM compliant marketing and sales documents
  • Producing analytical reports
  • Strategic watching and competitive analysis on financial markets and trends in the Americas (data analysis & statistics, competitors’ new releases and evolution, new development analysis – payoffs, underlings….
  • Contributing to the training of the whole platform
