Requirements

  • Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduates, recent graduates, or postgraduate students with degrees in Art History or related fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong desire to pursue a career in the art world.
  • Flexibility, attention to detail, and a desire to learn are essential.
  • Prior museum, auction house, or gallery experience is preferable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to meaningful projects and recurring tasks within your designated department.
  • Assisting gallery staff with daily operations, supporting colleagues across sales, artist liaison, research, and events.
  • Providing support to Gallery Assistant team with visitor inquiries and essential administrative tasks (including mail distribution, publication and stock management, organizing shared spaces, maintaining inventory, preparing offices for client meetings, expenses, etc.).
  • Participating in gallery openings and events. Supporting ad hoc projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

The internship program will run from June 2nd to August 28th, 2026.

What are the working hours for the internship?

The working hours are from 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, with additional hours for openings and events.

Is the internship paid?

Yes, the internship is paid at a rate of $18 per hour.

What is the application deadline?

The deadline to submit applications is Sunday, March 1st.

Are there any specific qualifications required to apply?

The internship is 100% in person, at one of our New York galleries.
