The candidate must be currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a Computer Science or related program with a GPA of 3.0 or above. They should have familiarity with programming and scripting, strong attention to detail and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams. Previous professional experience or an internship in IT is preferred, along with knowledge of Java or Python and experience with software development requirements and agile methodology.

The candidate will support business unit functions, collaborate with team members on projects, research and analyze processes, participate in meetings, plan and implement strategies, gather and present data, and perform other assigned duties.

The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC - The Reliable One) is a municipally-owned public utility providing electric and water services to the citizens of Orlando, Florida, St. Cloud, Florida, and unincorporated Orange and Osceola counties. 

Established in 1923 by a special act of the Florida Legislature, OUC is the second largest municipal utility in Florida and 14th largest municipal in the country. OUC provides electric, water, chilled water and/or lighting services to 400,000 accounts.
