Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in social studies, human rights, HR or any related field
  • Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects and individually
  • Great team player and eager to learn
  • Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal
  • You are enrolled at an educational institution.
  • In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
  • In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  • Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with upskilling the Global People Function on HR related Code of Business Conduct topics like harassment and discrimination.
  • Collaborate with the Global People community regarding their role in the follow up of Workplace Grievances and the implementation of a new technical solution.
  • Support in the upskilling of our Global Trusted Representatives Community by developing and co-facilitating online workshops.
  • Assist in the upskilling of our People Case Manager Community to improve their Speak Up investigation skills.
  • Gather insights to further inform decision making, including benchmarking and trend monitoring.
  • Help create communications and messaging on Speak Up HR/People and behavioural topics.

The starting date for the internship is 1 February 2025.

What are the working hours for the internship?

The internship is full-time, with the possibility of working 4 days a week in consultation.

How long is the duration of the internship?

The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months, based on consultation with your internship supervisor.

Where will the internship be based?

The internship will be based in Amsterdam, with a hybrid way of working (3 days in the office and 2 days at home).

What is the monthly internship fee?

You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week.

Are vacation days provided during the internship?

Yes, you will enjoy 2 vacation days per month, based on 40 hours per week.

Will commuting expenses be reimbursed?

If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed.
