Requirements

  • We're looking for strategists of the future to join one of our teams who are passionate about solving business problems, are proactive and have the potential to learn and grow within our firm.
  • You’ll need:
  • You’ll need to be in your penultimate year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree; or
  • You’ll need to be in your final year of an undergraduate degree with a one year postgraduate place confirmed; and
  • You'll need to have achieved or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study
  • Relevant experience and extracurricular activities that demonstrate your transferable skills to consulting (e.g. leadership, problem solving, organisational skills, communication skills)
  • Fluency in another language is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Our Strategy& Summer Internship beings with a week-long tailored training programme before joining live client projects or business development activities. You’ll need to exercise commercial awareness, analytical and interpersonal skills in your day-to-day work. You'll typically work closely with an Associate or Senior Associate who can guide and coach you.
  • Typical responsibilities include:
  • Building hypotheses and working as part of a team to address client questions
  • Identifying data sources and collecting, interpreting and analysing data
  • Conducting interviews and deriving insight from qualitative inputs
  • Presenting findings to team members, clients and other senior stakeholders
  • Participating in Strategy&-wide team events and industry specific lunch-and-learns and pipeline meetings.
  • Our interns will join one of our two market-winning teams - Strategy& Deals or Corporate Strategy. Strategy& Deals work with a wide variety of corporate clients and investors, with a mix of transaction-related work (e.g. commercial due diligence, pre- and post-deal value creation) as well as wider strategy development (e.g. market entry, sustainability strategy). Our Corporate Strategy team works with leading corporate clients and governments to create custom business strategies that address challenges faced by business leaders (market entry, growth strategy, target operating model and more).
