Requirements

  • First and foremost, we are looking for people who embody our behaviours:

  • We’re not expecting prior industry experience, but we’ll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly. These include:
  • On track for a 2.1 Degree in any subject – we are open to all subject backgrounds
  • In your penultimate of University (i.e. graduating in 2025)
  • B in A Level Maths
  • Curious, motivated and have a desire to learn more about a career in Investment Management!
  • Analytical mind-set
  • Great communication skills
  • Flexible and a team-player
  • High levels of energy, dynamism and commitment
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • The role will be based in London and will involve a flexible working approach whereby you split your time between working from home and the office.

Responsibilities

  • You will be assigned to one of our investment teams for your 8-week placement which runs throughout July and August. You will also take part in an induction week designed to introduce you to L&G and help prepare you for the remainder of the internship. Over the course of the internship, you will have the chance to interact with different teams, hear from senior speakers and network with your fellow interns. Some of the day-to-day activities you may experience might include:
  • Performing research and due diligence tasks to support decision making
  • Collating information for reporting
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations for meetings
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and improving team processes with fresh perspectives and ideas
  • Most importantly you will be learning new skills and gaining knowledge of how our business works!
