Requirements

  • Minimum education, skills and experience required.
  • Education:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Open to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors Prefer Junior or Senior
  • Maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent administrative skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based applications.
  • Strong follow through and multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in T-SQL, SQL server and general data modeling
  • Preferred experience in business intelligence tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, or other tools)
  • Local candidates strongly preferred; Role is hybrid
  • Available to work up to 40 hours per week between 6/05/24 and 8/23/2024 – Summer

Responsibilities

  • The intern will be responsible for developing Power BI solutions to improve monitoring and reporting capabilities within IT, and will participate in reviewing existing reports for possible updates, decommissioning, or replacement.
  • Learn foundational data modeling
  • Gather customer reporting requirements
  • Develop reports based on requirements, test and implement
  • Participate in ITG team activities (team ceremonies, meetings, and events)
  • Create capstone presentation to summarize learnings and accomplishments during internship
