Requirements

  • We are seeking ambitious and driven interns like yourself – individuals who are eager learners and high achievers.
  • For our internship:
  • You must be in your penultimate year of study and likely to graduate in 2025.
  • You will need to be studying towards your Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD.
  • You’ll need to be on track for a 2:1 or higher.
  • We do not offer sponsorship for the internship, so you must be studying in the UK and have the relevant right to work during the summer.
  • As part of our Intern Programme, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across IT and we would be looking for:
  • An interest in design and implementation of processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in computer-based information systems.
  • A team player, you’ll have no problem working with a diverse range of people, backgrounds and working styles.
  • A people person, your relationship skills will help keep cross-team communication clear and effective.
  • Curiosity and passion to learn people and technology skills.

Responsibilities

  • A Career In IT:
  • Working in IT Service Management is about ensuring the effective delivery and management of IT services to meet the needs of the organization and its stakeholders while adhering to industry best practices and standards. You will not only gain knowledge of how this works within a corporate organisation, but also how IT Infrastructure under pins the processes that enable a corporation to succeed in a competitive marketplace.
  • This programme is designed to support you in becoming an IT Business Analyst or IT Service Manager by giving you a core foundation in a range of key areas within a highly functioning and fast paced technology department.
  • As an IT Business Analyst, you will gain exposure to the key technologies (Computer, Networks, Workplace, Database) that make up Enterprise Infrastructure and help maintain, deploy and upgrade systems that make up the infrastructure. You will gain experience working with tooling, deploying hardware and software and gaining experience in the different areas that make up IT Infrastructure. You will be a key contributor in our Infrastructure modernisation programme helping deploy new hardware and systems and aid in tasks that help us migrate to the cloud.
  • Within the IT Service Management team, you will gain exposure to implementing the Service Management processes where you will partner with internal stakeholders within our business. You will be a key contributor in the introduction of a new IT Service Management platform, providing efficiencies in our business area.
