The ideal candidate for this IT Systems Engineer Intern position at Puget Sound Energy should be currently enrolled in a computer science or related program, have a strong academic standing, possess excellent communication skills, be able to work both independently and in a team, have a customer-focused mindset, be adaptable and flexible, take initiative, be interested in renewable energy and the utility sector, actively engage in community and extracurricular activities, have previous working experience, and be familiar with IT LAN/WAN network applications/procedures, network protocols, GUI interfaces, and Windows OS commands.

The IT Systems Engineer Intern at Puget Sound Energy will be responsible for the administration and monitoring of Windows operating systems, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, capacity planning, system installations and upgrades, adherence to standards and guidelines, documentation management, and collaboration with IT personnel across all segments.
