Requirements

  • New graduate from a Bachelor’s/college degree in business with a focus in Accounting or Finance
  • Graduated from post-secondary within the last 12 months
  • Above average study performance (Accumulative average > 2.5 (B-)). Transcripts to be provided upon request.
  • Strong knowledge in MS Excel, Word and Power Point is a must
  • Power BI and Tableau would be great if possible
  • SAP experience is a strong asset
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence, in Peterborough, at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Cost Centre controlling and analysis to ensure adherence to budgets
  • Responsible for developing budgets for cost centers, including cost, headcount, capital and VAM within the EA
  • Production function and performing standard cost rolls
  • Develop contract manufacturing pricing for products
  • Monitoring production headcount to the factory load on a weekly basis
  • Quoting product/component prices to customers
  • Preparing various management reports.
  • Reporting and presenting to management deviations and variances
  • Month end closing responsibilities to ensure accurate books of record.
  • Assist on an ad-hoc basis with planning, controlling, accounting and reporting activities of the plant.
