Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Land Use Planning, Real Estate or Surveying, pre-law, or related degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Reliable and able to prioritize and work independently
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Able to commute to various locations
  • Some overnight travel may be required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • A Junior or above undergraduate, or graduate student
  • Preferred Requirements:
  • Able to commit to the internship for 12 months or longer

Responsibilities

  • Assist in boundary surveying, design surveying, and staking for distribution, transmission or substation projects.
  • Assist crew chief with project tasks including: collecting site information, measuring features, staking points, and establishing positions.
  • Complete field duties accurately and on time for both internal and external clients
  • Assist with field data collection, data reduction and drafting
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
