Requirements

  • 0-3 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture office or the equivalent of professional, educational, or landscape construction experience
  • Currently enrolled in a Landscape Architecture program from an accredited university or a diploma focused on landscape architecture-based projects or a combination of related education and experience or a recent graduate.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • We ask that applicants submit a cover letter and specify which discipline best suits their education/work experience, and career interests. Applicants should also indicate the start date and length of their co-op term (minimum 4 months).
  • Technical skills required:
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to utilize modeling and rendering software such as Sketchup, and Rhino and rendering engines like Lumion, Twin motion, etc.
  • Landfx and Revit is not required but are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting landscape designers and architects with their current work including:
  • Drafting
  • Developing presentations
  • Participating in the design process
  • Taking meeting notes
